See account country flags, connection-source icons and location warnings beside usernames. Open compact account details, filter unwanted content and share what you find. Free and open source. Uses your existing X session, with no separate account or password to enter. Light and dark themes, clearer navigation and a dedicated Add filter flow keep its growing features organized. ACCOUNT CONTEXT AT A GLANCE • Country flags based on what X reports. • Apple, Android and Web connection-source indicators. • Location warnings when X marks an account’s location as potentially inaccurate. • Hover or click a badge for account age, verification, affiliation, handle changes and follower, following, post and media counts, where available. • Choose which indicators appear in your timeline. YOUR TIMELINE, YOUR RULES Hide matching posts or keep them readable with a clear highlight. Filter using: • Countries or X-reported regional labels. • Words, phrases or emoji in display names, and text in bios. • Website domains or exact URLs in profile websites and bio links. • Parody, Commentary and Fan labels, or grey government/multilateral checkmarks. • Organization affiliations and post language. • X’s location warnings. Keep selected accounts visible with Always Show. Matching quoted posts can collapse independently, with an explanation and a control to reveal them. Search saved filters, back up your settings, open controls from X’s sidebar or assign a keyboard shortcut to switch between Hide and Highlight. Filtering changes what you see locally. It does not block or mute accounts on X. Regions match X’s labels rather than automatically including individual countries. LOCAL STATISTICS AND WORLD MAPS See how many identifiable posts your filters catch, with location and device breakdowns. Explore country heatmaps for filtering activity and locally cached accounts. Counts build as you browse, without additional account lookups. Statistics stay in your browser and can be reset independently. SHARE WITH CONTEXT Prepare an image containing a selected post and its available account information, capture time and original link. Review the preview, edit the caption and choose Quote, Reply or New post, or save a PNG. You stay in control: nothing is posted automatically. COMMUNITY-POWERED CACHING A local cache reduces repeated requests to X. The optional community cache, with over four million account records, helps reuse available information when direct lookups are limited. Community Cache is enabled for new installations and can be switched off in Settings. When enabled, it sends requested public handles and shares limited account metadata. X session credentials are never sent to the community cache. PRIVACY AND ACCURACY No advertising or usage analytics. Filtering runs locally, and filtering statistics are not uploaded. X-Posed shows X’s account-level information, not someone’s live location or the device used for a particular post. A location warning is not proof of VPN use.
