X Fact-Checker helps users identify and verify the credibility of information shared on X (formerly Twitter).
Are you tired of wondering whether that X/Twitter post you're looking at is just made-up nonsense?Or is it false information being spread by a bot or malicious actor? This extension lets you check posts with just one click and verify the statements' accuracy, backing it up with live sources. Features: Performs a check on any Tweet and verify them with a live google search and clickable sources if needed. Button colour indicates the likeliness that the Tweet can be reliably checked. Instructions: Simply install and reload the X/Twitter-Webpage -- That's it. Works for English and German Tweets at the moment, more languages to follow. Tweet text and images are considered, video content is currently ignored. Note: Feedback and ideas are always welcome, please feel free to reach out.
