Export X (Twitter) Articles and tweet threads to a real, searchable PDF — selectable text, full-resolution images, straight into your Downloads folder. No print dialog, no new tab. Markdown, self-contained HTML, and a local offline archive are also supported. ■ The problem You want a searchable, printable, offline-readable copy of a long-form X Article or thread — but native browser tools can't do it. A screenshot has no selectable text. The browser's print function mangles the layout and pops up a print dialog that interrupts whatever you're doing. This extension produces a real PDF: vector text you can select and search, images at full resolution, generated with one click straight to your downloads — no new tab, no system print dialog. For threads, it expands and captures the full content first, so nothing is lost to the timeline's virtual scrolling. ■ How to use it 1. Open any X Article or tweet thread 2. Click the red PDF icon in the post's action bar (next to bookmark/share — only shown on Articles) 3. Left-click to export a PDF, right-click to export self-contained HTML (images inlined, opens offline) It also works the other way when you're writing: open x.com/compose/articles/edit/<id>, and you'll see an extra icon next to the Preview button. Paste your Markdown draft into the body and click it — headings, lists, quotes, and code blocks format themselves, no manual formatting needed. ■ Features · Real PDF, not a screenshot — vector text is selectable and searchable, images stay full resolution, not a bitmap snapshot. · Threads never lose content — a network-layer hook intercepts X's own GraphQL responses to reconstruct the post, unaffected by the virtualized timeline dropping DOM nodes, and recovers bold ranges, inline image positions, and real link URLs that the DOM itself has already lost. · Local offline archive — optional. Exported articles get a self-contained HTML snapshot saved in your own browser, so you can still read them even after the original author deletes the post. Nothing touches a server. · Markdown import into the article editor — paste Markdown straight into X's long-form editor and click one icon; headings, lists, quotes, code blocks, bold/italic, and links convert automatically into the editor's native format. ■ Privacy Collects no data.
