Know who you're actually talking to on X. X-Posed reads the "About this account" data X already exposes, through your own logged-in session, and surfaces it right where you read. Next to every username you get where the account posts from, what device it's on, and whether its location might be masked. No separate login. No independent tracking. No private data. Just the context that was always one click away, now inline. SEE WHERE ACCOUNTS POST FROM - A clean country flag sits inline next to every username. - It reflects the country X attributes to the account, not our guesswork. - Crisp Twemoji flags that look identical on every OS. DEVICE AT A GLANCE - An icon shows whether the account posts from Apple (iPhone, iPad, Mac), Android, or the Web. - Easy to spot when what someone claims and what they actually use don't line up. VPN & PROXY SIGNALS - A lock badge appears when an account's location may be masked. - This is a heuristic hint, not a verdict. Treat it as a possible signal worth a second look, never proof. THE HOVER DOSSIER - Hover the small circled-i for a clean glass card with the full picture: - Location, device, and the VPN/proxy signal. - Account creation date and age. - User ID, verification, and affiliation. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR TIMELINE - Filter or block by country, by region (multi-country groups, including Southeast Asia), or by display-name tag. - Choose your mode: HIDE removes matching posts, or HIGHLIGHT keeps them visible with an amber accent. - Toggle whether posts from VPN/proxy accounts show at all. - An optional "Block Locations" link drops right into X's own sidebar nav. - "Flag from Device" mode flags by the device's country instead of the account location (falling back to location for web or unknown), and blocking follows the device country too. - Full import and export of your configuration. BUILT FOR RESEARCHERS & JOURNALISTS - Evidence capture: screenshot any post with a forensic metadata overlay (location, device, VPN signal, timestamp, source URL, and engagement metrics), rendered as a clean card you can save and share. FAST & PRIVATE - A local cache (LRU, ~50k accounts, ~2-week expiry) means no account is looked up twice; not-found results are remembered too. - Optional Community Cloud Cache: a privacy-first shared cache so flags load instantly and survive X's rate limits, with 2.5 million+ profiles cached by the community so far.
