Wyse Leads is a CRM sidebar extension by OpsWyse that works alongside LinkedIn, Gmail, and Google Calendar. It lets sales teams import leads directly from LinkedIn profiles, track deal pipeline stages, log notes and calls, sync LinkedIn messages, and manage contact field mappings — all from a convenient side panel without switching tabs. This allows the side panel to display the correct contact information for the page the user is currently viewing. Host permissions Required to communicate with the OpsWyse backend API (api.opswyse.com) for authentication, contact lookup, import, activity logging, and AI chat. LinkedIn, Gmail, and Google Calendar host permissions are needed to inject content scripts that scrape contact data from profiles, detect email senders, and read calendar event attendees. No data is collected from pages the user does not interact with. Remote code This extension does not use remote code. All JavaScript is bundled at build time using the Plasmo framework. API calls are made to the OpsWyse backend (api.opswyse.com) for data operations only — no executable code is fetched or evaluated at runtime. scripting Used to programmatically inject content scripts on LinkedIn profile pages, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn messaging, Gmail, and Google Calendar. These scripts read visible page content (contact names, titles, companies, email addresses, calendar attendees) to populate the CRM sidebar and enable one-click lead import. sidePanel The core UI of the extension is a Chrome side panel that displays CRM contact cards, deal pipeline stages, activity timelines, and an AI chat assistant. The side panel opens alongside the user's current tab so they can manage contacts without leaving their workflow. storage Used to persist the user's authentication token, workspace ID, selected CRM template, and field mapping preferences locally. This allows the extension to maintain the user's session across browser restarts and remember their preferred CRM column configurations without re-authentication. tabs Used to detect tab URL changes so the sidebar can automatically update when the user navigates to a different LinkedIn profile, Gmail thread, or calendar event. Also used to associate scraped contact data with the correct browser tab and to open the OpsWyse web app in a new tab when the user clicks "Open in CRM."
