Wunderkind Event Helper is a free Chrome extension for verifying and debugging your Wunderkind integration. It detects the Wunderkind Web Tag on any page, lists every Web SDK event as it fires, and flags the ones that need attention — so you can confirm your implementation is sending the right data without digging through console logs. Click the extension icon to open the panel and confirm the tag was detected. 4. Browse the site — view a product, add to cart, run a search — and watch each event appear. 5. Fix anything flagged, reload, and confirm it comes through clean. Why use it An integration that looks correct in code can still send data that doesn't work downstream — incorrect data types, an image URL missing values, an item ID that doesn't match your product feed. No. The extension shows activity in your own browser. An account is only needed to view events in the Events Dashboard. Does it work on staging? Yes — any page where the Wunderkind Web Tag is present. Will it affect my site or real user data? No. It only observes your own browser session; it doesn't modify the page or send events. Why don't I see any events? The panel lists events sent through the Wunderkind Web SDK. If your site sends events another way, or nothing has fired on this page yet, the panel is empty — browse the site and they'll appear. Is it free? Yes. What data does it collect? It reads Wunderkind Web Tag and event activity on the pages you open while it's active and displays it locally in the panel.
