WriteHeroes is a gamified writing tool that helps you build a consistent writing habit — and it works wherever you write. This extension connects any web-based writing surface (WordPress, Substack, Ghost, Notion, your own CMS) to your WriteHeroes account. Every word you write, wherever you write it, counts toward your daily goal and writing streak. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension and paste your API key from WriteHeroes (Settings → API Key) 2. Open any page where you write 3. Click the WriteHeroes icon, choose your project and section, and start syncing 4. The extension remembers that page — next time you visit, it auto-connects FEATURES • Word count tracking on any editable web page • Live session timer so you know how long you've been writing • Automatic page-to-section memory — no manual setup on return visits • Syncs with your WriteHeroes streak, daily goals, and progress dashboard • Works alongside the WriteHeroes editor — use whichever you prefer NOTE: This extension does not work with Google Docs (Google Docs uses a canvas renderer, not standard text).
