Wren Companion
Overview
Connects Ethereum apps in your browser to the Wren desktop wallet.
Wren Companion connects Ethereum apps in Chrome to Wren on your computer. Wren stays in control of accounts, approvals, signing, and transaction review. Pair the extension with Wren by comparing a six-digit code in both apps. After pairing, supported websites can find and connect to Wren. Companion sends wallet requests only to Wren on the same computer. It has no telemetry, advertising, cloud account, or remote code. Data use: Wallet requests can include account addresses, messages, and proposed transactions. Companion briefly reads the current page address to keep each request with the correct page. Pairing details and the last network list stay on your device. The developer receives none of this data. Features: - Use Wren with Ethereum apps in Chrome - Clear six-digit pairing - Review and approve wallet requests in Wren - Optional compatibility mode for sites that expect MetaMask - No private keys stored in the extension Wren desktop 0.1.3 or a later compatible release is required. Wren Companion is open-source software licensed under GPL-3.0.
