Keep WreckD close while you browse. WreckD — Mod Feed brings recent mod releases, approved updates, and your WreckD inbox into a compact Chrome toolbar popup. • News: browse the latest public mod releases and updates, with cover images, creator names, versions, and links to WreckD. • Messages: sign in on wreckd.net in the same Chrome profile to read conversations and send replies from the popup. • Notifications: view your WreckD updates, with actor avatars where available and unread indicators. • Toolbar badge: see the combined unread message and notification count without opening the popup. Checks run approximately once a minute while Chrome is running; timing can be delayed while Chrome is idle or asleep. • Guided setup: installation detection, pinning instructions, and optional account setup. The public feed works without an account. Messages and personal notifications require your own WreckD account and an active sign-in on wreckd.net. The extension does not request or store your password. Incognito uses a separate sign-in; add-on analytics and saved-feed caching are disabled there. Permissions are limited to wreckd.net, local storage for the public feed cache, and alarms for unread-count checks. A narrowly scoped script on the WreckD setup page reports only the installed extension version. No scripts run on unrelated websites. Optional aggregate usage analytics follows WreckD privacy choices and regional defaults, including Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Private message and notification contents are never included in analytics. Open Privacy in the popup to manage your choice. WreckD is an independent modding community.
