Woxymate

Video-only mode for YouTube: keeps the player, hides recommendations, comments, shorts and ads. Autoplay stays off.

Woxymate makes a YouTube watch page show the video and nothing else. Hidden: recommendations and the related sidebar, comments, Shorts shelves, the masthead and search bar, the description and metadata rows, subscribe and like/share/save buttons, live chat, merch shelves, promoted and display ads, and in-player ad overlay banners. The player itself is untouched and expands to use the freed width. Autoplay is switched off and kept off, so YouTube does not roll on to the next video by itself. What woxymate deliberately does NOT do: • It never touches your audio. During an in-stream ad the volume stays exactly where you and YouTube left it. woxymate never mutes or unmutes anything. • It clicks nothing on your behalf except the player's Autoplay toggle. The "Skip Ad" button is yours to press. • It collects nothing and sends nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no account, no remote server. It makes no network requests at all. • It requests no permissions — not even storage. It runs one content script on youtube.com and nothing else.
