Worktree Tabs
Overview
Color-codes tabs for your local dev sites so you can tell them apart at a glance.
Running several copies of the same app, like git worktrees, a main branch and a feature branch, makes every tab look identical. Worktree Tabs gives each local site its own color and name so you always know which one you're looking at. What it does: it adds a prefix to each tab title (WT2 · Orders) that stays readable in narrow tabs. It replaces the favicon with a colored badge, and shows a thin colored strip with a small label across the top of each page. Switching: click the page label to open the same page in another worktree. Right-click any page, including your live production site, and choose Open in worktree to load the same path locally. Or type wt in the address bar and paste a link. Logs: set a logs path once in settings (like /logs), and the page label's menu gets an Error logs link that opens that page on whichever worktree you're on. Setup: open the menu on a local site you haven't added yet and add it in one click. The badge, tab prefix and color are filled in for you. Hosts can include ports (localhost:3000) and http or https. Privacy: it only runs on sites you add and grant access to. Your list is kept in your browser's sync storage. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere.
