Workswarm Meeting Recorder puts a one-click recording control next to your meetings. When you join a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams call, Workswarm offers to send your meeting agent. The agent joins the call as a visible participant, listed by name, and records and transcribes it into your Workswarm workspace. WHAT IT DOES - Detects when you are in a supported meeting - Sends your Workswarm agent to record, with your explicit acknowledgement - Shows live status beside the call: elapsed time, what the agent is doing, and a Stop control - Switches the agent between Scribe (listens only) and Represent (can speak on your behalf using your configured voice agent) - Hands the call back to you at any point — "Take over" opens the call and drops the agent to listening only, so you are never talking over yourself - Plays the recording back and links to the meeting thread when the call ends WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - It never accesses your camera or microphone. It does not ask for either, and cannot. Recording is performed entirely by the agent that joins the call. - It does not read the contents of your meeting pages. A passive observer only detects whether the tab is in a call. - It stores no transcript. Transcripts are produced by Workswarm after the meeting and live in your workspace. RECORDING CONSENT The recording notice is shown before every recording and requires your explicit acknowledgement. Participants are notified that the meeting is being recorded and transcribed. Only record where you have the consent required in your and the participants' jurisdictions. REQUIREMENTS A Workswarm account. Sign-in runs through Workswarm's standard OAuth flow in a window Chrome opens and closes; your password never reaches the extension.
