Makes backtick wrapped text look like code! {openSource}
Make backtick wrapped text look like code! {openSource} An open source extension to make backtick wrapped text look like code in WorkFlowy. Unlike 'WorkFlowy for coders', this solution is lightweight, pure JavaScript, and still allows editing text in all views. Any text wrapped in 1 or 3 backticks will be rendered as code (inspired by Markdown syntax). Use 1 backtick for inline code, and 3 backticks to wrap multi-line code. Note that the 3 backticks MUST be on their own line. Note that extensions do not work inside of Chrome apps, so if you are using the WorkFlowy 'app', this extension will not be running. This is a limitation of Chrome apps and extensions. Enjoy! https://github.com/ryanpcmcquen/workflowyCodeFormatter

Definitely a needed feature, but removes other formatting from the line and doesn't serve my main use, which is to remove spellcheck errors on strings like MyFunctionName. For that it needs spellcheck="false" in the <code>.

This is an absolute godsend to me! I couldn't get the three backtick code snippets working, but the single backtick shortcut is helping me a lot.

Just tested three backticks here, would you mind creating an issue on GitHub if you are still experiencing this?

Really, really enjoying this. Pros: • Simple, one-click install. • Formats and distinguishes code from standard text. • Code format is similar to .md Cons: (Not big deal items, but worth noting. This extension is great!) • I unfortunately can't see or read well my code with an opacity of 0.3. If that could be moved up a little bit, that'd be amazing! Reply to this, and I'll even submit the PR. • I don't see colored syntax highlighting in my experience. Given, I am using JS. If there isn't ... Show more

Are you still experiencing issues? The syntax highlighting was changed to be theme agnostic, since many users requested 'Dark Theme' support. Removing coloring and relying on other indicators (italics, bolds, and varying opacity), seemed like a nice compromise that would make this extension more useful for more users. I'm always open to PRs that enhance or extend things though!
