Overview

Analyze your Salesforce org's metadata, schema, permissions and Apex using your existing browser login. No setup in Salesforce.

Workbench4Dev gives Salesforce admins, architects and developers a fast way to explore and analyze their org, using the Salesforce login already open in your browser. Nothing to install in Salesforce: no package, no Connected App, no OAuth setup. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Explore objects, fields, layouts, record types and relationships in one place - Trace dependencies and see exactly where a field, class or flow is used before you change it - Browse permissions and find who has access to which fields (field security finder) - Review automation, execution order, sharing model and schema risk - Scan Apex and metadata for code and architecture issues, with suggested fixes - Build package.xml files and plan deployments from the dependency graph - Run SOQL, Apex and Tooling/REST API calls from a built-in developer console - Read and filter debug logs, and switch debug logging on for a user in one click - Generate realistic test data for sandboxes with the Data Seeder - Ask Your Org: type a plain-English question about your org's metadata and get an answer with the exact lookups shown. It runs entirely in your browser, with no external AI service. - Quick-launch tab on Salesforce pages to jump straight into any tool or the object you are viewing DESIGNED FOR SAFETY - Works with your own Salesforce permissions. You can only see what you could already see in Salesforce. - Mostly read-only. Anything that changes the org (running Apex, creating test data, enabling a debug trace flag) happens only when you click it. - No account, no sign-up and no subscription. PRIVACY - Everything runs in your browser and talks only to your own Salesforce org. - Your Salesforce data and session are never sent to the developer or to any third party. - No analytics, no ads and no tracking. - The only data that leaves your browser is feedback you choose to send through the in-app Help & Feedback form. - Privacy policy: https://github.com/lntyagi1-droid/workbench4Dev-privacy/blob/main/privacy-policy.html HOW TO USE 1. Install Workbench4Dev and pin it to your toolbar. 2. Log in to any Salesforce org (Production, Sandbox or Developer Edition) in a tab. 3. Click the Workbench4Dev icon, or the small tab on the edge of the Salesforce page, to open the workspace.
