Inline etymology: Wiktionary first (free), then Merriam‑Webster (dev key), then Wordnik (free key).

WordTrace is a new lightweight chrome extension that can bring the history of the language behind any word of your choice right to your screen. Simply highlight a word, right click and then you can see its etymology, origins, linguistic history, definition and more all within an inline popup at your own convenience without having to leave the tab.
