Wordle Past Answer Highlighter

Highlights active Wordle guesses red/green based on past solution history.

This Chrome extension overlays on top of Wordle. Play Wordle as usual and on the entry of the last (fifth) letter of a guess word - before hitting <enter> - it will indicate whether or not that word has (red glow) or has not (green glow) been used as a previous solution. If you check your Wordle guesses against a database of previous solutions in order not to guess a word which has already been used as a solution this Extension eliminates the step of checking that database. So, this only about saving a few clicks and not having to exit the Wordle app to check guesses against previous solutions. You. Are. Welcome. As Wordle will now occasionally reuse previous solution words as the solution for the current puzzle, this extension will automatically account for that and treat the solution word as having never been used previously. For example, PAINT has been a solution word, but should PAINT be the solution word for the current puzzle and you guess PAINT, before hitting enter it will glow green. You'll see. =) *Note this is really only useful for the current day's game and not intended for use with the Wordle game archive but could still be helpful.
