A live writing companion that counts words, characters, sentences, and paragraphs while estimating reading time. Built for marketers, content writers, and editors writing to length or reading-time targets. Paste any draft, essay, or article into a clean serif editor and watch the analytics update in real time as you write. WHAT IT TRACKS - Word count - Character count (with spaces) - Character count (without spaces) - Sentence count - Paragraph count - Estimated reading time (based on 200 words per minute average reading speed) HOW IT'S DIFFERENT This isn't just a counter. The editor uses Lora, a serif font designed for long-form reading, so writing in the analyzer feels like working in a published draft rather than a form field. The dark mode is well-tuned for night writing. WORD-COUNT PROGRESS BAR If you're writing to a target length — a 1500-word blog post, a 500-word product description, a 300-word meta description — the analyzer shows a progress bar so you can see how close you are at a glance. READING TIME Reading time is estimated at 200 WPM (the well-cited average for adult reading). For a 1500-word article, you'll see roughly "7m 30s reading time". PRIVACY Everything happens in the popup. The text you write is held in popup memory only and is not stored anywhere. The only persisted state is your theme preference (light/dark), via localStorage. PERMISSIONS None. Zero. The extension declares no permissions in its manifest, which makes it the most privacy-clean option in this category. No host permissions. No storage permission. Nothing.
