Word Counter Plus

This extension is not bad for what it does, but I found it a little buggy and didn't always work correctly for counting words/characters. I ended up using Word Counter (Tally) as it has similar features and isn't as buggy.

Useful so far, but unreliable since it counts em-dashes / double-hyphens as separate "words" (so this parenthetical -- like this -- would count as 14 words, not 12). Not sure how it'll do with other punctuation oddities. Glad it measures the longest word but kinda wish it gave me the longest word as well (or at least the first word with the longest letter count).

This tool works beautifully. Thanks for making it available and keep up the good work!

a simple concept and a simple execution

Nice tool. I like it. But wasn't a fan of the need to highlight texts.

Simple, straightforward, useful.

Solved my life as a translator!, Now I have a reliable count in texts out of Word, GDocs or any word processor. An intuitive and simple tool but really precise and up to the task.
