Woodpecker Scraper is a free web scraper Chrome extension that turns the list on any web page into a CSV or Excel (XLSX) file. Open a page with a list, click the icon, and the side panel finds the records, follows the next pages, can open each item page for more details, and gives you a file at the end. No account, no row limit, and nothing leaves your browser. WHAT THE DATA SCRAPER DOES - Finds the list for you. One click on "Detect Data on This Page" outlines every record on the page and shows the count, the columns and a preview of the first 10 rows. - Scrapes data from company directories, search results, shops, job listings, public registers and HTML tables. On a table every column keeps the name from its header, merged cells included. - Shows what each column reads. Point at a column in the panel and the page outlines that element inside every record. - Lets you fix the result. Rename, remove and reorder columns, add a column by clicking one value on the page, or click one record yourself when the wrong list was picked. P selects the parent element, C the child, Esc cancels. - Handles pagination and infinite scroll. It recognizes a Next button, numbered pages, a Load more button and lists that load as you scroll, and says in words what it found. You set the page limit, from 0 (no limit) to 100000. - Opens item pages. Choose the column with the link, or pick the element that opens a record on sites where the name is not a link. The first item page opens and the fields it can read are suggested. - Shows the progress of a run: the page it is on, rows collected, rows left and the time left. Pause, resume or stop at any time. Rows already collected are kept. - Spreads the pauses between requests at random, so a run does not hit the site at a fixed rhythm. - Exports to Excel or CSV. XLSX opens in Excel and Google Sheets as is; CSV is UTF-8 with a comma or semicolon delimiter (semicolon for European Excel). The file name holds the site and the time. An optional column adds the source address of each row. - Keeps the last ten runs, so you can download a file again later. - One panel per tab, so two tabs can scrape at the same time. - English and Polish. The panel follows the language of your browser. HOW TO USE THE WEB SCRAPER 1. Open the page with the list and click the Woodpecker Scraper icon. 2. Click "Detect Data on This Page" and allow access to the site when Chrome asks. 3. Check the records and the columns. Remove what you do not need. 4. Confirm the pagination that was found, or pick the next-page control yourself. 5. Optional: choose the link to the item pages and the fields to read there. 6. Click "Start Scraping", then download CSV or XLSX. You can allow all websites with one click in Settings and take that back at any time. - The extension reads a page only after you click Detect or start a run on it. ABOUT WOODPECKER The extension is made by Woodpecker, a cold email tool. Once per run a small window offers a free Woodpecker trial and closes by itself after 20 seconds; the Export step shows the same offer next to the download buttons. The scraper itself stays free, with no row limit.
