WNC Blocker is a lightweight ad, tracker and pop-up blocker built by WNC Education. Works where other blockers get "detected" Many streaming sites (StarDima and similar Arabic video sites) open a pop-under tab saying "Ad-blocker detected, please disable it" the moment you click play. WNC Blocker stops that tab from ever opening and the video keeps playing normally. Nothing to whitelist, nothing to disable. The pop-under killer runs inside the video player frames themselves, which is where those pop-ups come from and where ordinary blockers can't reach. What it blocks • Ads and ad networks (AdGuard Base, which includes EasyList) • Trackers and analytics beacons (AdGuard Tracking Protection) • Social-media widgets, mobile ad networks and pop-up scripts • Hebrew and Arabic regional ad lists (EasyList Hebrew, Liste AR) • Known malware and phishing domains • Pop-under tabs fired from inside video players How it works Everything runs inside your browser using the Manifest V3 declarativeNetRequest API: the browser itself drops the requests, so there is no proxy, no account and no data sent anywhere. The toolbar badge shows how many requests were blocked on the current page. It has no servers, no analytics and no network connections of its own. The only data it stores is your per-site switches, saved locally in your browser. The bundled filter lists are converted from AdGuard and EasyList filters, licensed under GPL-3.0.
