Wizard Application Password Vault brings the logins from your Wizard Application password vault straight into Chrome. Land on a sign-in page and your matching credentials are one click away, all protected by zero-knowledge encryption that keeps your master password on your device and nowhere else. Your passwords are decrypted only on your device. The extension downloads encrypted data and unlocks it locally in your browser, so nobody, not even us, can read your secrets. WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT Zero-knowledge security Everything is decrypted on your device. The server only ever stores and sends encrypted data. Your master password, and the key derived from it, are never uploaded, never written to disk, and never shared. One-click autofill Open a login page and the extension surfaces the matching entries under a "For this page" heading. Click Fill and your username and password drop into the form instantly. Smart page matching The extension compares the site you are on with the entries in your vault and shows the relevant logins first, so the right credentials are always a tap away. Fast search Unlock once and search your whole vault by name to find any entry in seconds. Copy in one tap Need to paste a username or password somewhere autofill cannot reach? Copy either to your clipboard with a single click. Automatic locking Choose an auto-lock time in settings. After that period the extension wipes the decryption key from memory and re-locks itself, so an unattended browser stays protected. No tracking, no ads We collect no analytics and show no ads. The extension talks only to your own Wizard Application workspace. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create your account and store your logins in Wizard Application. 2. In the Wizard Application, open Password vault -> Settings -> Browser Extension, and generate an access token. 3. Open this extension's settings, enter your workspace URL, and paste the token. 4. Click the toolbar icon, unlock with your master password, and start filling. You create, edit, and organize entries in the Wizard Application web app. This extension is the fast, secure way to use those entries while you browse. YOUR SECURITY Wizard Application Password Vault is zero-knowledge by design. Your master password is entered only in the extension, is never stored, and never leaves your device. Your password vault is downloaded encrypted and decrypted locally in your browser, so your passwords are readable only by you, never by the server and never by us. When you lock the password vault, or when the auto-lock timer fires, the keys are cleared from memory. PERMISSIONS AND WHY WE ASK Storage: to remember your workspace URL, your access token, and your settings. Never your master password or keys. Alarms: to run the auto-lock timer that clears the key after inactivity. Tabs and active tab: to read the address of the page you are on so the right logins can be matched to it. Scripting: to place your username and password into the login form on the current page when you ask it to. Website access is requested only for your own workspace, and only when you pair the extension. REQUIREMENTS Wizard Application Password Vault is a companion to the Wizard Application platform.
