Overview

Detects whether a site uses Wix Headless / @wix/sdk as its backend

Wix Headless Detector is a developer tool that reveals whether any website is using Wix as its headless backend — even when the frontend is built with a completely separate JavaScript framework. HOW IT WORKS The extension runs three layers of detection simultaneously: 🔍 Network Inspection Scans all network requests already made by the page and flags calls to Wix API domains such as wixapis.com and wixapis.com/graphql. 📦 SDK Signature Scanning Scans inline scripts and JavaScript bundles for known @wix/sdk patterns, including createClient, OAuthStrategy, WixClientContext, and common Wix module references. 🗄️ Storage & Cookie Analysis Checks localStorage and cookies for Wix authentication tokens such as wix_accessToken, wix_refreshToken, and oauthState. ⚡ Frontend Framework Detection Automatically identifies the frontend framework running alongside Wix Headless. WHO IS THIS FOR - Developers curious about which sites use Wix Headless - Wix partners and agency teams doing competitive research - Developers evaluating Wix Headless for their own projects PRIVACY This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any user data. All analysis happens locally in your browser.
