Most site blockers just say "access denied" and hope you walk away. Then you disable them and go right back to the same sites. WithoutX takes a different approach. It slows you down. The blocked page gives you a breathing exercise, motivational quote, and a few coping suggestions like "do 10 push-ups" or "call a friend." The incognito warning shows your streak and asks if it is worth jeopardizing your progress. The panic button locks everything down for 30 minutes with a single keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+P) and opens a breathing exercise instead. By the time it is over, the urge usually passes. Streaks sync across devices through your withoutx.org account. The extension badge turns red, amber, or green depending on how long you have been going. The new tab page shows tiers with visual badges at 7, 30, and 90 days. You can also create custom challenges that track their own streaks. Time blindness alerts periodically ask "How are you spending this moment?" A daily focus prompt on every new tab keeps your intention front and center. No premium tier. No subscription.
