Wishlist

Save things you spot online to your wishlist.

Spot something on a shop page, click the Wishlist button, and it is on your list. The popup reads the product's name, photo, price, and link off the page, lets you add a note and choose who can see it, and saves it to your wishlist at wishlist.fit. What it does - On a product page, the toolbar button (or Alt+Shift+W) reads the page and shows the item. One click adds it. The name, notes, and visibility are editable; category, priority, size, and the links sit under "More details". - On a grid of products, the page goes into pick mode. The tile under your cursor gets an outline and an "Add to wishlist" tag, a click on it does not open the product, and the popup fills in with that tile's name, link, picture, and price. Esc cancels. "Not this? Pick it on the page" under the form starts the same mode on any page. - Right-click a tile's picture or title and choose "Add to wishlist" to save that tile in one step. On a product page the same right-click uses that picture instead of the one the page advertises. Right-click selected text to start the notes with it. - "Already on your wishlist" appears when the link is already on the list, so the same thing does not get saved twice by accident. - Some things are for your circle only. Flip the switch and only the people in your circle see the item. The switch remembers your choice for the next one. - The price goes into the notes as "$49.99 at amazon.com", because that is the line a gift-giver wants first. How sign-in works You need a wishlist.fit account. Sign in at app.wishlist.fit once and the extension uses that session. It stores no password and no token: Chrome attaches the site's own session cookie to requests to api.wishlist.fit, the same way it does when you use the website. When you are signed out, the popup shows a sign-in button that opens the web app. What it reads The extension reads a page only when you click the button, press the shortcut, or use the right-click menu, and only the page you did that on. Nothing runs on pages you have not asked it to read. What you save goes to your own wishlist and nowhere else. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no remote code.
