Windowsill
Overview
Windowsill saves a window's tabs to a list, one list per window. Keep work and personal windows separate.
Windowsill saves the open tabs of a browser window into a list, then closes them. Each window has its own list, and you can have several lists open at the same time in different windows. How it works • Click the toolbar icon and name a list (e.g. "YouTube"). The list opens as a page in that window. Nothing is closed until you ask. • One click then closes the window's tabs and adds them to that list. • Click a saved link to reopen it. It leaves the list, unless you've locked the group. • A sidebar shows all your lists, which ones are currently open, and lets you jump between them. Features • One list per window, many lists open at once • Groups you can rename, lock, restore all at once, or move to another list • Search within a list • Copy a list as plain text • Import your existing OneTab export • Export and import all your lists as a JSON backup • Keyboard shortcuts for saving and showing a window's list, rebindable in your browser's shortcut settings • Options: open restored tabs in the background, include pinned tabs, skip duplicates, merge into the latest group Privacy Everything is stored locally in your browser. Windowsill has no server, no accounts, no analytics, and never sends your tabs anywhere.
