Overview
Window list with names and one-click switching, plus global pin tabs that follow you between windows.
Window Manager Plus puts every Chrome window in one searchable list — with names, colors, and one-click switching. And it gives you something Chrome doesn't have: global pinned tabs that follow you between windows. WINDOW LIST — SIDE PANEL AND POPUP • Every normal window in a compact list: name, active tab, tab count, audio indicator, focused-window highlight. • Name a window with a right-click or double-click; pick a color; flag it to keep it on top of the list. • Search by name, tab title or URL — type to filter, full keyboard model (/, arrows, Enter, Esc). • Five sort orders; names and colors are restored after a browser restart. • Alt+Shift+W opens (or closes) the panel in all your windows at once. GLOBAL PINS • Pin a tab once — it follows you: every window you focus gets your pinned tabs docked at the start of its tab strip, in your order. • Pins survive window closes and browser restarts (re-resolved to same-origin tabs). • Drag to reorder pins; click a pin chip to jump to its tab. SETTINGS A schema-driven options page: name lines, density, second line, tab-count badge, window-color mode (dot or row tint), theme, rename gesture, search and tooltip options — every change applies to open panels live and persists. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything is stored locally in Chrome's own storage. No accounts, no analytics, no remote code — nothing leaves your machine. The content script on pages only reports clicks/keystrokes so the panel knows which window it lives in; it never reads or modifies page content.
