Windchill PowerTools is a free debugging and productivity toolkit for PTC Windchill, built for administrators, business analysts, customization developers, and support engineers. It runs entirely in your browser — no server changes, no agents, no data ever leaves your machine. WHAT IT DOES 🔍 Type & Attribute Manager Search Search the entire TAM type tree — including attributes hidden inside collapsed branches and scrolled-out grid rows. Answer "which types have attribute X" across your whole data model in seconds, then jump straight to any match in the tree. 📊 One-Click Data Model Export Document your complete Windchill data model in a single click: every type, with its metadata and full attribute grid (display name, internal name, data type, and more), exported to one filterable Excel workbook. What used to take days of manual copying takes minutes. 🐞 JCA Debug & Customization Point Resolver Toggle jcaDebug and jsDebug from the page, then hover or click any UI component to instantly see its JSP, MVC builders, data utilities, validators, action models, and resource bundles. You explicitly add each Windchill server URL in settings, and Chrome asks you to approve that exact site. • All parsing, searching, and exporting happens locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. • No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. GETTING STARTED Install the extension and open its settings page.
