Wikiwand - Wikipedia, and beyond

very good

I came to this extension because of its clean simple design—a nice dark grey background with a serif font. A few months ago, they changed the design of Wikiwand. I felt it was unnecessary and I preferred the old layout (I still do), but I grew to live with the new rounded corners and segmented layout. But then came the AI stuff. I have no problem with AI features in general, but it has to add to the experience which Wikiwand's AI doesn't do. I don't want to ask questions about every Wikipedia... Show more

I have been with Wikipedia since the day it appeared. Thank you Wiki for your great effort to provide us with the world of knowledge.

Long time user here wow header, footer, sidebar, and floating ads? really? perhaps you should also insert more ads after every paragraph too You underestimated my adblock-fu but anyway you have shown your true color, and the usage experience it now worse OG wikipedia so I can no longer support or recommend this extension Enjoy your quick ad cash while it last

Hi Searchable! Extension users aren't seeing ads at all - only organic traffic directly from search results exposed to advertisements. Please try to reinstall the extension

From a 5 to a 0. Far too many ads! It's ridiculous. Noticed I was using it just for the dark theme, easy uninstall.

Buggy extension causing ads, reinstalled and solved, why have I done this as an user? Should even be developers' job?

Thanks for the heads up, we are aware and solving this issue. On rare occasions some user will need to reinstall the extension, we are promoting a version that will solve this going forward

The extension now has ads and privacy issues. Aggressive monetization policy has ruined the extension I used for years. The best alternative for this is "Modern for Wikipedia" extension

Suddenly I have ads popping up on wikipedia... the direction the addon is going in is not good.

Hi Alexander, extension users aren't seeing ads at all, regardless of authentication status - you can be logged out, without subscription, if you have extension installed in your browser you will not see any ads. Hi Eric, extension users aren't seeing ads at all, regardless of authentication status - you can be logged out, without subscription, if you have extension installed in your browser you will not see any ads. On the latest update you'll see a screen of annoying ads on every page you opened... You call this "enhance user experience"? You're destroying user experience. RIDICULOUS.
