Wiki Mermaid Renderer is a diagram-reading extension designed for Confluence Wiki users. It detects Mermaid source code in Wiki code blocks and renders it directly as clear, visual diagrams, including flowcharts, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, state diagrams, and more. After installation, users can view Mermaid diagrams while reading documentation without copying the source code or opening an external Mermaid editor. The extension also provides zooming, panning, fit-to- width, fullscreen viewing, large-diagram collapsing, source/diagram switching, and one-click source copying. These features make complex technical designs, business processes, and system documentation easier to understand. The extension supports Atlassian Cloud pages under *.atlassian.net/wiki by default. Users can also add their own Confluence Wiki sites. When a full Wiki page URL is pasted, the extension automatically recognizes and extracts the site address to reduce configuration errors. A custom site is enabled only after the user explicitly adds it and grants permission. The extension only changes how the current page is displayed in the browser. It does not edit or save the original Wiki page content. If your team regularly uses Mermaid diagrams in Confluence, this extension improves document readability and removes the need to repeatedly copy source code between the Wiki and external diagram tools.
