Adjust the conversation width of AI chat sites like Claude and ChatGPT

Wide AI lets you expand the conversation area on Claude (claude.ai) and ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) to make better use of your screen space. Set the conversation width anywhere from 50% to 100% using a slider or by typing a number directly. Settings are saved per site, so Claude and ChatGPT each keep their own width preference, synced across your browsers via Chrome storage. Changes apply in real time. Only the conversation area is resized — the input box stays untouched. The extension also detects when Claude's Artifacts panel or ChatGPT's Canvas is open and automatically disables itself to avoid layout conflicts. Dark mode is supported automatically. When you disable or remove the extension, the original layout is restored immediately. More AI sites will be supported in future updates.
