Wibu is a simple translation buddy that helps you understand highlighted or typed text from the web. Whether you are reading a long assignment, trying to understand a confusing sentence in a book, looking at a website in another language, or just need a quick translation for a word or phrase, Wibu gives you a faster way to translate without copying and pasting between tabs. With Wibu, you can highlight text on a webpage, right-click, choose “Ask Wibu,” and translate it into the language you are most comfortable with. You can also manually type or paste text into Wibu if you want to translate something yourself. Wibu is built for everyday translation needs, including: * Understanding confusing parts of school assignments * Reading websites in another language * Translating phrases, sentences, or short paragraphs * Helping language learners compare text across languages * Reading books, articles, forms, or online resources more comfortably * Quickly translating random words or phrases you see online Wibu supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian, Urdu, Ukrainian, Dari/Farsi, German, French, Uzbek, Swahili, and Italian. Wibu also includes local translation logs, so you can look back at recent translations without needing to translate the same thing again. Logs and language preferences are saved locally in your browser. Wibu is designed to stay simple. It is not an AI chatbot, does not require an account, and does not include unnecessary extra features. The goal is to make translation feel quick, friendly, and easy to use.
