WhyNavo turns every new tab into a calm, personal workspace built around local-first data. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Organize website shortcuts, folders, spaces, and custom navigation pages. • Add and arrange weather, focus timer, calendar, countdown, notes, tasks, and other widgets. • Customize icons, text icons, wallpaper, layout, theme, and language. • Search through Chrome's current default provider using the Chrome Search API. Baidu is available only when you explicitly select it and never changes Chrome's default search settings. • Upload device-local MP4 or WebM dynamic wallpapers with a generated static poster. • Import WhyNavo JSON, WeTab .data, browser bookmark HTML, and CSV shortcut lists. • Export a complete data backup whenever you want. • Create recurring tasks and optional local reminders. • Use the extension immediately without creating an account. • Sign in only when you want optional multi-device synchronization. LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN Without sign-in, shortcuts, notes, tasks, widgets, layouts, wallpapers, and settings stay in the current browser profile. WhyNavo does not require an account for local use. If you choose to sign in, supported workspace data can be synchronized through authenticated, account-scoped cloud storage. Private local photos, uploaded image or video wallpapers, and uploaded shortcut or folder icons are excluded from normal cloud snapshots and remain on the device. PRIVACY AND CONTROL • No advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. • No sale of personal data. • No browsing-history, tabs, or broad website-reading permission. • Notification and location permissions are optional and requested only when you enable the related feature. • No remotely downloaded executable code. • Public privacy policy and support documentation at whynavo.com.
