Overview

Meeting cost for Google Calendar: see what each meeting costs from the hourly rates of the people invited.

Because five senior people in a 30-minute sync is not free — and now you can see exactly what it costs. This extension puts a price tag on the meeting you are looking at. Give the people you work with an hourly rate. When you open an event in Google Calendar, the extension reads the guest list and the meeting length, then shows: • the cost next to every guest, • the total for the meeting, right under the guest list. A 30-minute sync with five senior people is not free. Seeing the number makes it much easier to shorten the meeting, trim the guest list, or replace it with a message. SET RATES WITHOUT LEAVING THE CALENDAR • Every guest gets a small label. No rate yet? Click "+ Add rate", type the hourly rate, press Enter. • The name and e-mail are picked up from the event automatically — nothing to retype. • Already priced? Click the amount to change it, or remove it with one click. STATISTICS FOR THE WHOLE PERIOD • Total meeting cost, hours spent, average meeting, cost per hour, and what the current pace extrapolates to per year. • Your most expensive meetings, and the cost per person. • Recurring meetings grouped together, so a weekly standup shows its real annual cost. • Cost by weekday and by meeting size. • Filter by week, month, quarter, year, last 30 days or any custom range. Export to CSV. • The dashboard covers the meetings you have opened in Calendar, and tells you the exact range it has, so the numbers are never silently partial. OTHER WAYS TO SET RATES • Click the toolbar icon and add an e-mail with an hourly rate, or open the settings page and paste a whole list at once (email, name, rate). • Set a default rate for guests you have not priced individually. • Optionally skip people who declined the invitation. • Any currency — pick the ISO code you work in. WORKS IN ANY CALENDAR LANGUAGE The extension reads the guest list structurally rather than by keyword, and takes month names from your locale, so it works whether your Calendar is in English, Polish, German, Spanish or anything else. PRIVACY • No network permissions. The extension sends nothing anywhere. • Rates are kept in Chrome's own storage. The events used for statistics are stored only on your device and can be deleted with one click. • Event details are read only inside the Calendar page you already have open, and only on calendar.google.com. GOOD TO KNOW • The cost appears on events that have guests and actual start/end times. All-day events are skipped. • Rooms and resource calendars are ignored, so they never inflate the head count. • Not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
