Click the CanvasCast extension icon to open the recording studio in a new tab. 2. Draw, type, or insert content on the whiteboard. 3. Add or duplicate slides when you need multiple presentation pages. 4. Choose a recording aspect ratio and output quality from the settings panel. 5. Drag the recording frame by its top handle to reposition the captured area. 6. Drag the bottom-right handle to resize the recording frame proportionally. 7. Enable the camera and microphone if you want to include them. 8. Move or resize the webcam overlay inside the recording frame. 9. Open the teleprompter and paste your script. 10. Choose Manual mode for fixed-speed scrolling or Voice Follow mode for speech-controlled scrolling. 11. In Voice Follow mode, select Chinese or English and click Play. The teleprompter will follow your reading position, adapt to your pace, pause when you stop speaking, and highlight the text you have already read. 12. Adjust the teleprompter’s speed, opacity, and font size as needed. The teleprompter is visible only to you and will not appear in the exported video. 13. Click “Record,” review the final composition, and start recording. 14. Continue drawing, typing, changing slides, or controlling the teleprompter while recording. 15. Pause, resume, or stop the recording when needed. 16. Preview the finished video and download it to your computer. Privacy CanvasCast stores whiteboard projects locally in browser storage, and recorded videos remain on your device unless you choose to share them. Camera and microphone access is requested only when required. When Voice Follow is enabled, Chrome’s built-in speech recognition service may process microphone audio to produce real-time recognition results. Voice Follow is optional, and you can use manual teleprompter scrolling without enabling speech recognition.
