Snakehead fish gizzard membrane (commonly known as "young snakehead fish eggs") This is the air bladder (substomach membrane) in the snakehead fish's abdomen, usually removed after cutting the fish. Milky white or ivory color. Spherical shape, surface has natural wrinkles. When exposed to the sun, it will swell up roundly as shown in the photo. Can be grilled, boiled, or fried as an appetizer.
