It works right on the results page you already see, so the rank you get is the rank your visitors get. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the extension icon and add your domain, for example example.com. 2. Optional: add competitor domains. 3. Search on Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo or Yahoo. Your site lights up with its position. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT • The real rank, as you see it. Other rank checkers run searches from a server in another place. This one reads the results page in your own browser, with your location and language. • Ads are not counted. Only organic results get a number. • No account, no email, no API key. Install and search. • 4 search engines. Google (all main country domains), Bing, DuckDuckGo and Yahoo. PRIVACY Your domains, search queries, results and rank history stay in your browser. Rank history is stored on your device only. Your settings sync through your own Chrome profile. We send anonymous usage events to Google Analytics (for example: extension installed, a setting changed, which search engine had a match and how many). Search results change with location, language and login. This extension counts the organic results on the page you are looking at, so it matches what you see. Does it count ads? No. Ads and sponsored boxes are skipped. Nothing is highlighted. What now? Check that your domain is saved in the popup, that the engine is turned on in settings, and that your site is on the current results page.
