)Overview
Bulk download every image, video, voice note and document from one or more WhatsApp Web chats at once. Free and open source.
WhatSave downloads media from WhatsApp Web in bulk. Pick one or more chats, choose the media types you want, and it saves every matching image, video, voice note and document to your computer. Free, open source, no license key, no limits. What it does - Select several chats at once and it works through each in turn - Filter by media type and by date range - Saves at original quality, fetching the real file rather than a cached preview - Downloads 2, 4, 6 or 8 files at a time instead of one by one - Sorts files into Downloads/WA Media Downloads/<Chat Name>/ - Optional single ZIP per chat - Filename options: date prefix, sender name, caption suffix, original filename - Progress bar and a live log Privacy No data is collected, stored or transmitted. WhatSave runs only on web.whatsapp.com, inside your own logged-in session, and saves files straight to your computer. No analytics, no telemetry, no servers. Notes WhatsApp Web keeps roughly a year of history loaded locally. Use Load More Messages to pull older history before downloading.
