What When - For Google Calendar
1 rating
)Overview
Create events faster and easier using natural language - just type What and When.
'What When' is a minimal extension that allows you to create events using your own words. Type things like "buy groceries at 6" or "hike sunday at 11am - 2pm". Then by pressing Enter, this addon will open a new tab with your new event pre-created in Google Calendar, where you may add finishing touches or just save the event. This addon is open source! Check out the code at https://github.com/ivocass/whatwhen # Usage -Write what you want to do and when, in your own words. -It works best if you type first the title of your event and then the date. Otherwise your event title might be reduced to a single word (known bug). -Tip: no need to write "pm". The extension assumes you mean "pm", unless you type "am". -Tip: you can shorten words, like: "tue", "aug", "tmrw", "tom" -Tip: you can simplify "12:45" as "1245" -Tip: to add an ending date, type both dates separated by a "-" -You can test sentences at https://sherlock.neil.gg/ # Examples -"leave at 6" <-- will be set for tomorrow if today is later than 6pm -"essay due tomorrow by 10am" -"run 10k on sunday at 1" -"museum in 2 weeks at 12" -"vacations from tomorrow at 6 - apr 2 at 11" -"hike on sunday 11am - 4" -"lunch with client tmrw 12 - 1" # Acknowledgements -This extension is powered by Sherlock.js Check it out at https://github.com/GitSquared/sherlock-js -This extension is powered by Sugar Check it out at https://sugarjs.com/
