Shows which browser tab made a sound. It works with the What Dinged desktop app and talks only to that app on your computer.

Something on your computer just dinged, chimed or started talking, and you have no idea where it came from. What Dinged tells you. What Dinged is a small app for Mac and Windows that notices every sound your computer makes and shows which app made it. This extension adds the missing piece: when the sound came from your browser, it tells the app exactly which tab it was. Click the sound in What Dinged and you land on that tab, even if it is buried in another window. What it does: - Names the exact tab that started playing sound - Takes you to that tab with one click from the What Dinged app - Optionally marks background tabs that made a sound with ♪ until you visit them It requires the What Dinged app for Mac or Windows.
