Sets up White Glove Content's Auto Poster for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in your own browser, signed in as you.

WGC Setup Helper is for White Glove Content customers connecting YouTube or Facebook to Auto Poster. It does the fiddly setup in your own browser, signed in as you, and stops for anything that is yours to decide. YouTube Connecting YouTube needs a small Google Cloud project in your own Google account. By hand that is an 8-step guide; the helper does it in about a minute in a tab you can watch: • Creates the Google Cloud project and turns on the YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API • Sets up the screen Google shows when you approve access, and publishes it • Creates the connection key and puts it into White Glove Content's YouTube Connect form • Gets your approval code, opens Google's approval page and types the code in No channel yet? From "Set up my YouTube channel" the helper creates it and adds your page's name, handle, logo, banner, description and keywords in YouTube Studio. Facebook From Facebook Connect the helper finds or creates your own "WGC Auto Poster" app on Meta for Developers, turns on its Page permissions, publishes it so your audience can see its posts, copies the App ID and App Secret, prepares a token in Graph API Explorer and connects your Facebook Page to White Glove Content. What stays with you Agreements (Google's and Meta's terms, WGC's auto-upload terms), your passwords, the made-for-kids choice, phone verification, and which account, channel or Page to connect. The helper rings each one in orange and waits. It never agrees to anything or grants access for you, and never sees your passwords. Privacy It runs only in your browser. To improve it, it sends anonymous step counts to White Glove Content (which step finished or got stuck, and the version), never your name, email, channel or Page.
