"Service unavailable for this account"

I've accepted cookies for web.wechat.com
I get the QR Code and scan it, but then it returns this error.
Any ideas?

Wechat web login "service unavailable for this account" message

I'm using Wechat for almost probably 15 years, and wechat web about 4-5 years. I was experiencing this problem and ending up with this message for almost a year. Tried many options and checked similar topics in internet but didn't work till an hour ago, now it works. Here's what I did:
1) checked my cell phone had the most recent version of Wechat,
2) downloaded the latest version of wechat at the website of wechat to my laptop and operated the .exe file.
That's all, it works fine now.

Unable to use my WeChat on my Chromebook

Hi Sir/Madam.... Has tried many times to link my WeChat account to my Acer Spin CP713-3W chromebook. But unsuccessful even though after opening the WeChat online apps & scanning the QR code using my mobile phone WeChat apps scan function. After scanning the QR code, the next screen on my chromebook just show my mobile phone WeChat profile photo & below the profile photo there is a Switch Account box. When I click on the Switch Account box, the next screen will show a picture of a computer monitor & below this picture there is a sentence in red colour mentioning "Service unavailable for this account". May I know what should I do to be able to use my WeChat on both my mobile phone & also my Acer Chromebook? Thank You

hola,me he descargado la aplicacion de wechat para utilizarlo en mi ordenador que es un chromebook,pero cuando escaneo el codigo QR me da error y no puedo iniciar sesion en mi ordenador.Por favor espero que puedan arreglarlo y actualizar la aplicacion para el sistema chromebook.
