Practice typing with the text on any webpage. WebTyping turns readable page content into a focused, Monkeytype-inspired typing session without sending the text anywhere. Features: • Live words-per-minute and accuracy tracking • Smooth caret movement and automatic scrolling • Progress bar and Caps Lock warning • Choose how many upcoming words are highlighted • Skip emojis by default, with an optional setting to skip punctuation • Dark, distraction-free interface • Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+T WebTyping processes page text locally in your browser. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, trackers, cloud storage, or external network requests. Only your extension preferences are stored locally. To start, open a text-heavy webpage and select WebTyping from the toolbar. You can practice with detected content or selected page text, adjust the experience in Settings, and exit at any time.
