Frequently asked questions 1. How does it work? Click the extension icon and select a language. The webpage is translated in place using Google Translate. A small ConveyThis toolbar lets you change languages, display the original alongside the translation, or restore the original page. 2. Can I translate any website? Most websites, including pages where you're signed in, can be translated directly in your browser. Text inside images, videos, and some embedded frames cannot be translated. 3. How do I translate just one word or paragraph? Highlight the text and click the blue button that appears, or right-click and select Translate. You can disable the blue button in the extension menu. 4. How many languages are supported? More than 100 languages are supported. 5. What happens to my data? No account is required, and the extension does not track your browsing activity. Text submitted for translation is sent directly from your browser to Google Translate. ConveyThis does not receive or store translated text. Passwords and text entered into forms are never sent for translation. 6. Can I edit the translations? Not within the extension.
