Overview

Scan the page you are on for accessibility issues. See a score and fixes, and make a branded PDF report for clients. Runs locally.

Websight scans the web page you are looking at for accessibility problems and turns the result into something you can act on, or send to a client. Websight is not only about sight: it runs the WCAG 2.2 success criteria that automated checks can test, covering vision, hearing, motor and cognitive needs as far as an automated tool can go. Automated tools find only part of the accessibility problems; the manual checklist covers the rest. Click the icon, click Scan. You get a score out of 100, with the scoring method explained on screen, and every issue grouped by impact: what is wrong, why it matters to real users, which elements are affected, the WCAG 2.2 success criterion, and a fix suggestion in plain words. Copy any finding, or highlight the element on the page. FREE • Unlimited scans of the page you are on • Score out of 100 with the method shown (it is a way to compare scans over time, not a legal compliance score) • Issues grouped by impact, with plain-English explanations and fixes, WCAG 2.2 criteria and element selectors • Suggested fix per element: a corrected snippet built from the element's own markup and nearby text (alt text, link and button names, labels, language, title, contrast colour, target size, ARIA attributes), shown as a before and after with a copy button. Every suggestion is a draft for a person to check • Copy a finding, highlight an element on the page, copy a developer handoff per issue • Powered by the open-source axe-core engine (Mozilla Public License 2.0) PRO (7-day free trial, then £99 a year or £9.99 a month, billed by ExtensionPay) • Client-ready PDF audit report, built on your computer: your logo and name, client name and date, executive summary, prioritised fix list, issue tables with screenshots of the affected elements, a manual-checks section with tick boxes (keyboard, focus order, screen reader spot check, 200 percent zoom, motion), and a context page on WCAG 2.2 and the European Accessibility Act written in careful, non-legal language • Multi-page audits: visit each page of a site, add it, and get one report with a fix list across all of them (you choose every page; nothing is crawled) • Saved audit library on your computer • CSV and JSON export, plus a fix list (Markdown, CSV or JSON) with the suggested snippet for every element • Preview a suggested fix on the page you scanned (not saved, undone by a reload) and re-scan to see the score move PRIVATE BY DESIGN Websight scans only the tab you click on, only when you click. It makes no requests to the sites you scan and sends no page content anywhere. Results, audits and your branding stay on your computer. The only service it contacts is ExtensionPay, to confirm a Pro subscription. HONEST LIMITS Automated tools find only part of the accessibility problems on a page. Suggested fixes are drafts generated on your computer from the page's own markup, with no AI service involved and nothing sent anywhere; a person must check that alt text, names and colours make sense. Websight cannot edit your website: it gives you instructions and code to paste. Websight is a testing aid for freelancers, agencies and in-house teams. It does not certify that a site meets WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, the Equality Act 2010 or any other law, and nothing it produces is legal advice. The report says so on every page, and includes a manual checklist for the checks a person has to do. WHO IT IS FOR Freelance web designers and developers, small agencies and in-house teams who need a quick, honest audit report for a client or a colleague, without a subscription to an enterprise platform. Pro is sold by Luke Rallings (United Kingdom) through ExtensionPay. Prices are shown before you pay; cancel any time.
