webQsee: Session Replay, Network & Console Capture
Overview
Record network, console, screenshots and full session replays. Replay any bug, then share it as a link. No account needed.
🛠️ webQsee: Capture. Analyze. Reproduce. Share. webQsee is the developer extension for Chrome and Edge that turns ephemeral browser activity into permanent, shareable artifacts. Capture network traffic, console output, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, full-page screenshots, and complete session replays without ever leaving the tab. Free to use. Local capture, analysis, import, and export require no account. ⚡ WHAT YOU CAN DO 🌐 NETWORK & CONSOLE ANALYZER Three connected grids slice every signal a tab produces: • HTTP requests • WebSockets • Server-Sent Events • JavaScript console Group by domain, filter by status, jump straight to errors or warnings with quick-filter chips, pause without losing data, and export only the rows you need. 🔎 HTTP REQUEST VIEWER Inspect every request in detail: • Headers, payload, response, cookies, and timing • Waterfall visualization • Copy any section in full • View the entire response body, not just a truncated preview • Download response bodies • Toggle line wrapping • Copy requests as cURL • Copy requests as fetch() Reproduce an issue instantly in a terminal or browser console. 🎬 BEHAVIOR REPORTS Session replay with network traffic attached. Get a replayable video of the tab alongside every network request, console log, WebSocket frame, and SSE message recorded during the session. Click an event to jump directly to that moment in the video. Skip the "can you reproduce it?" loop. 📦 EVENT SNAPSHOTS (.ESA) A richer alternative to HAR. Bundle these into one shareable file: • Network requests • Console output • WebSocket frames • SSE messages • Optional screenshot • Cookie jar • Browser fingerprint Anyone running webQsee can import an .esa file, including Free users. 📸 SCREENSHOTS, SCREENCASTS & VIDEO Capture your browser exactly when you need it. • Full-page screenshots with correct sticky-header handling • Tab, window, or desktop recording • Optional tab audio and microphone • Resolution presets • Dashcam Mode: monitor a tab indefinitely while keeping only the last 30 to 60 seconds 🎨 BUILT-IN IMAGE EDITOR Edit captures before saving or weeks later. Crop • Annotate • Censor • Highlight • Draw Editing a saved item preserves its identity: the same title, gallery location, and share link. So a link you sent last week can now show the annotated version. 🗂️ COLLECTIONS A bug is rarely just one screenshot. Combine a report, screenshots, and the video showing how you got there into a single Collection. Collections can: • Group related captures • Upload everything in one go • Share as a single link • Play back as a playlist in the analyzer The original captures stay exactly where they are. 🚨 CUSTOMIZABLE ERROR DETECTION Create reusable rules that automatically flag known issues: • Stack traces • HTTP status codes • Log patterns • Custom patterns your team recognizes Senior engineers define the rules once. Everyone gets instant pattern matching. ☁️ CLOUD GALLERY: TWO WAYS webQsee Cloud Managed Amazon S3 storage in six AWS regions: 🇩🇪 Frankfurt 🇺🇸 Ohio 🇨🇦 Canada 🇯🇵 Tokyo 🇦🇺 Sydney 🇧🇷 São Paulo Provision storage in about 30 seconds directly inside the extension. Bring Your Own Storage Connect Amazon S3 or any S3-compatible storage, including self-hosted MinIO. Your browser communicates directly with your storage. webQsee never receives your credentials and cannot read your captures. 🔗 SHARING THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE Share captures using: • Temporary public links: no account required • Permanent public links • Permanent private team links Paste a link into a ticket, chat, or email. Recipients open the capture in their browser at view.webqsee.com. Nothing to install. 📥 IMPORT, NOT JUST EXPORT Drag in captures from colleagues or other tools: • .bar • .esa • .har Import HAR files from Chrome DevTools, Charles, Fiddler, or Postman and analyze them as if you captured them yourself. Free. No account required. 📤 EXPORT ANYWHERE Export: • HAR • Excel • Console-log JSON • MHTML • Cookies • Behavior Archive (.bar) • Event Snapshot (.esa) Export all, selected, or filtered rows. Large exports are assembled completely on disk, so data is not silently truncated and is not limited by available free RAM. 👥 TEAM SETTINGS SYNC Distribute error-detection rules and cloud-storage connection parameters across your team. Storage credentials remain local on each device. 📌 SIDE PANEL Dock webQsee into Chrome's side panel and monitor several tabs at once. Chrome only. Edge implements its side panel differently. 🚀 NEW IN VERSION 8 Version 8 is a rebuild, not a facelift. Every surface was redesigned around one visual language, while several workflows were completely rethought. ✨ Highlights • Collections: keep related captures together • Edit old captures: annotate an image saved weeks ago while keeping its share link unchanged • New HTTP viewer: including Copy as cURL and Copy as fetch • New console renderer: level badges, one card per logged argument, expandable objects, collapsible call stacks • Quick filters: errors, warnings, network, console, WebSocket, and SSE • No reloads during account changes: signing in, registering, switching teams, and upgrading no longer reload the window, so active captures survive • Built-in billing: plans, boosters, purchases, payment methods, and billing details now live inside the extension • Reliable large exports: no more silent truncation • Universal shared links: videos and screenshots are now shareable too • Guided onboarding: welcome walkthrough plus optional per-surface tours 🔐 PRIVACY Local first. Always. • Captures stay in your browser's IndexedDB until you choose to upload them. • Cloud uploads go directly from the browser to S3 over HTTPS. • webQsee's backend stores metadata only: title, description, and status. • In Bring Your Own Storage mode, webQsee never receives your bucket credentials. Requests are signed locally by the extension. • The webQsee metadata backend runs in Frankfurt, Germany. • Manifest V3 since day one. • No remotely hosted code. 💶 PRICING 🆓 FREE: FOREVER No account required for most features: • Analyzer • Full-page screenshots and editor • Videos up to 1 minute • Videos up to 20 seconds without an account • Import .bar, .esa, and .har • Export to HAR, Excel, ESA, BAR, and MHTML • Local gallery with 30 items • 3 error-detection rules • 7-day webQsee Cloud trial with 5 items ⭐ PROFESSIONAL: €24/YEAR • Videos up to 5 minutes • Unlimited local gallery • Bring Your Own S3 • 20 cloud items with 1-year lifetime • 24-hour temporary links • 10 error-detection rules • Downloads without the webQsee badge 👥 SMALL TEAM: €216/YEAR For up to 5 members: • Videos up to 15 minutes • Unlimited team-wide error-detection rules • Private team links • Members can edit cloud items • 40 cloud items 🏢 TEAM: CUSTOM Custom pricing for larger organizations. 🎁 BOOSTER PACK: €4.90 ONE-TIME Add longer recordings and additional cloud allowances without subscribing.
