Overview

Monitor the part of a page you care about and get alerts on changes. Checks run in your browser; alerts go only where you choose.

A browser extension that watches just the part of a page you care about and notifies you when it changes. Price drops, restocks, new arrivals, announcements — no more opening the same page again and again to check. Note: this is a beta. If a page can't be watched well or something is unclear, let us know through “✉️ Send feedback or a request” in “Guide & FAQ”. ■ For example, when you want to know ・when something you want drops below the price you set ・when a sold-out item is back in stock ・when something new appears in a list of jobs, homes or second-hand items ・when a school or shop updates its news page ■ How to use it 1. Enter the address of the page, then click the part you want to watch, right on the page 2. Choose what you want to know: text changes, a number such as a price, or new items in a list 3. That's it. It checks the page automatically at a set interval, and notifies you when something has changed ■ Features ・It watches only the part you picked, not the whole page, so changes elsewhere don't set off a notification ・Times like "3 minutes ago" and rotating ads are ignored from the start ・See what changed, with before and after side by side ・Besides desktop notifications, it can post to Discord, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and ntfy ・If the page is rebuilt and the part can no longer be read, it tells you so. It never keeps saying "No change" when it can't read the page ■ How your data is handled ・The content of the pages you watch is read, compared and stored inside your browser ・That content goes out only to the notification destinations you set up, such as Discord or Slack ・There is a setting that sends which features were used and how often, to help improve the extension. It is off by default, and even when on, it never includes the addresses or content of the pages you watch ■ Before you start ・It works only while your browser is open on your computer. While the browser is closed it pauses, and picks up again when you open it ・Pages are checked every 30 minutes by default. To go easy on the sites you watch, there is a minimum interval, and the rules sites publish (robots.txt) are respected ・Pages that need a login can be watched if you are logged in to them in your browser. The extension never keeps your password ・Please check that watching a page doesn't conflict with that site's terms No ads, no account needed. Learn more at https://webpagegazer.com/en/
