Webpage Notes
Overview
Open draggable, resizable plain-text notes on any webpage.
Webpage Notes lets you capture key points while reading articles, watching tutorials, or taking online courses—without switching windows. Move, resize, minimize, or hide the note window directly on a webpage. The plain-text editor is ideal for summaries, questions, review items, and code snippets. Key features: - Draggable and resizable floating note window - Line numbers and cursor line/column position - Single- and multi-line indentation with Tab and Shift+Tab - Find and replace, undo and redo, and optional word wrap - Manual save with Ctrl+S - Optional autosave, off by default - Separate notes for each website domain - Locally saved window position, size, and preferences - Deletion confirmations, delete-all, and interface reset Privacy and storage: Notes are stored unencrypted by website domain in Chrome's local storage on this device. Pages on the same domain share one note. Data does not sync across devices, storage is normally limited to about 10 MB, and removing the extension deletes local data. The extension has no account, analytics, advertising, external server, or data transmission.
