WEBP to JPEG Converter works with local files: open its workspace from the toolbar, drop in your selection, and receive ordinary photo attachments. You can change several sources together instead of repeating a picker for every picture. Use it to convert WebP files to JPG for an upload form or an editor that expects that type. The inputs stay on your computer throughout the job, so an existing folder can be processed offline without an upload queue or an account. 📥 DROP A SELECTION Click the extension icon to open its full-page workspace in a new tab. Drag and drop your chosen items onto the marked area, or click the area to use the file picker. Multiple selection is supported in both workflows. The board shows when conversion is busy, and a message reports successful downloads. Unsupported inputs and failed conversions are reported separately, so a mixed selection does not silently look like a complete success. Wait for the current job to finish before adding another group. 📦 WHAT A BATCH PRODUCES • Receive one attachment per successful conversion. Results are saved separately rather than in a combined archive. • Keep each source's base name with a .jpg ending, making it easier to match the result to the original. • Retain the original pixel dimensions while encoding at a fixed high-quality setting. • Get a white backing wherever the source was transparent, suitable for a conventional photo attachment. JPEG compression changes picture data, so “high quality” does not mean lossless. The extension has no quality slider, resizing control, or manual retouching step. Check the output against the receiving site's requirements before submitting it. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW Can I run bulk conversion without a connection? Yes. Once installed, the workspace handles files already on your device offline. Does the drag and drop area take pictures straight from a website? It expects inputs from your computer. Download the sources first, then select them from your folder. 🔒 LOCAL WORKSPACE The decoding and re-encoding run on your computer. Pictures are not sent to a server for processing; the completed copies are handed to your normal download flow.
