Overview
Capture a website viewport as editable text, shape, and vector data plus a reference screenshot.
Turn the visible browser viewport into an editable After Effects composition. WebMotion Capture is the Chrome companion for WebMotion Builder for After Effects. Capture the current webpage, preserve a visual reference, and convert supported interface elements into structured design data for reconstruction as editable After Effects layers. CAPTURE SUPPORTED WEB CONTENT • Text and typography • Shapes, fills, borders, and shadows • Images and backgrounds • SVG icons and supported vector artwork • Charts and media when supported WORK YOUR WAY • Direct Send sends the current viewport directly to WebMotion Builder in After Effects. • Collect downloads a portable WebMotion package containing design data, a reference image, and captured assets for later import. WebMotion starts capturing only after you choose Direct Send or Collect. WebMotion Builder for After Effects is required to create the editable composition. Some browser content—such as protected media, WebGL, cross-origin frames, and advanced effects—may require a raster fallback or may not remain fully editable.
