Weblin has been around since 2007, and I remember having joined almost immediately. The original team/company sold its operation and core functionality to Lupus Labs, which not only got it going again, but it even added extra functionality (and more is coming soon!). One nice surprise was the ability to bring your avatar from Ready Player Me and turn it into a Weblin avatar — a good idea, for those who love some consistency across the many virtual worlds out there.
